Originally from Massachusetts, Bridget Palardy comes from a long line of storytellers, jokesters and crazy dancers. In college, Bridget fell in love with dance choreography, which inspired her to make her first short film: a documentary about the break dancing scene in Middletown Connecticut. Continuing to shoot and edit, Bridget soon found herself creating videos for Nylon Magazine in New York City, where she had the opportunity to shoot inspiring women like Kim Gordon, Allison Mosshart and Betsey Johnson.

After leaving Nylon, Bridget worked as a freelance filmmaker, directing music videos, fashion films and short narrative films. Her music videos have been featured on MTV2, UK MTV and screened at the LA Film Festival. Bridget's narrative work has screened at numerous festivals including SXSW and Bend Film Festival. In 2011, she was selected to participate in AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, through which she directed the short film OowieWanna, an original musical starring Karen Black, which won Best Short at several festivals.

In the past year, Bridget has joined the roster of M ss ng P eces, where she has directed commercials for Target, Google Glass and Macy’s, as well as a video for Funny or Die and an interactive music video for Trevor Jackson. Bridget loves strong female characters, bold colors, inspired camera movement, dance, design, radical ideas, raw emotions and storytelling with heart. She is currently based in Los Angeles where she hopes to use her filmmaking skills to inspire joy, love, vulnerability and change.
